Yukon Denali 07 Fuel pressure

Hello ,

recently purchased used Denali 07 , and i love it ! , noticed the mileage was horrible even for a a Denali though , i started checking things and found the pressure on the fuel rail test point on idle is 95 PSI , engine off and pump on is only 50 , i was wondering if anyone has the specs for the engine running fuel pressure , if it is high what could be causing it? as far as i gathered from searching there is no fuel pressure regulator on my fuel system to check , can a bad pump module cause high pressure ?

There is an orifice in the pump that is supposed to limit pressure to 50psi. New pump time.

So the idle (engine running) should be 50? Any control module is there or only pump assembly? Which pump would you recommend as i saw some branded pumps that claim improved design?

if anyone can confirm the fuel pump is the cause of high pressure please do so i live outside the US and shipping would cost a small fortune want to make sure this is the problem thx

Pressure should be about 50 PSI, 95 is too high. Do yourself a favor and make DAMN sure you get a Delco replacement. If you buy one of the auto part store specials you will be paying shipping more than once in the near future.
