AC trouble GMC 2016 Sierra Elevation

I bought a new GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation, It has the small V-8 and a towing package. I'm having trouble with the AC. When I first start the vehicle and turn on the AC, it does not cool down immediately. It takes about 60 seconds maybe 45 seconds for cold air to start coming out. This only happens when I first start it up. Hours later when I start the truck up again the air comes out cool then turns cold within 30 seconds. My question is this, should it take that long, on the first start, for an AC to blowout cool air? Shouldn't it be blowing out cool air in less time than that? If anyone has any information on this "Please" Help Me out! Thank You.

Sounds normal if the interior is hot inside. It's gotta get a flow going of the air so it can cool it. My HD operates similar.
