what do i need to do to smooth out the shifting a tune or any thing else or can it be fixed

"Hard shifting" will be interpreted in many different ways. If your transmission is performing differently than it did before, something is malfunctioning. If it is under warranty, take it to a gm dealer. If it is not under warranty, take it to a reputable transmission repair facility for an evaluation. Your chances of finding a solution will be far greater and probably less costly than searching for fixes online.
