2013 vs 2014 1500 rear axle

Anyone know the differences in the rear axles of a 13&14 chevy 1500?

 

A lot of 13s have rear drum breaks.

Can you swap the disks off the 14 to the 13 axle?

And any other differences

I'm the furtherst thing from an expert. If it helps at all I do know the if you go to change the gears you need parts from a '14+

 

Almost positive axles are not compatible

.02 Doubt you can simply swap disks for drums.......might require a new master cylinder with different displacement compound piston and new proportioning valve.......first check to see if these parts are different in both systems.....in addition the change might really piss off the programmed pressures in the antiskid/antilock controller.
