4L80-e transmission Problem

I have a 93 georgieboy motorhome 454 chevy w/4L80e tranny-- I was traveling down I-44, about 65mph evrything working fine, I left off of the gas and went back on the gas and transmission would not engage--- drifted to side of road and transmission would not engage in any gear. Everything was working fine, no slipping no hard shifting no noticable problems until this happened. Is this possibly an electrical problem or did something internal go wrong?

Sounds like your pump took a poop on you do you have reverse?

That is what I was thinking but I don't want to pull tranny prematurally before searching other avenues, and no I do not have reverse either, it just seems strange that it gave no indication of failure; it was working perfectly fine up until it quit

Fluid is full & clean, no burnt smell

Can you scan for DTCs? If it was a quiet failure (ie. no loud noise or vibration, etc) I'll agree the pump probably just failed. I would check the line pressure before I pulled it.
