2017 Park Assist Sensors Blocked?

There is a light rain / mist were I live today, temperature is about 37. Drove truck to gym and parked back in my garage no problems earlier today, FPA was working. Then later in the day was leaving the grocery store, was about 2 car lengths behind the truck in front of me waiting to pull out of lot and front park assist starts going off like I am 2 inches from his Bumper.

 

Then when I pulled into my garage "Park Assist Sensors Blocked - See Owners Manual" and it forced the PA to turn off. I shut the truck off, went out and wiped the sensors off, they are clean as a whistle (really wasn't anything on their to begin with), turned truck back on and the park assist was on, but was again showing like I was 2 inches from the wall when I was much farther away.

 

Anyone else have this issue? I could see if it was freezing or raining hard, but its really nothing more then misting outside. I have had the truck for about a month, this is the first time it has rained here.

Common. These and lane assist hate rain, mist fog ice...

I was just surprised that it remained even after I toweled off the front sensors... Will see what happens once it dries up, luckily I live in the desert I Guess!

Yup, same thing has happened a couple times on my 17 Sierra. The first couple weeks I had the truck when it rained they'd be forced to turn off and I couldn't get them back on. I'd get the same message as the OP on my info screen. Next day after they dried up it was fine. And it's strange, the last few rain and snow storms we've had they've worked just fine. I know a lot of people have problems with them in the rain/ice/snow. My buddy just plain shut his off in his tundra.
