New Alternator whistles?!

Just put in a new alternator on my 2004 Chevy 8.1 liter and at idle when cold it whistles. Is it a bad alternator more specifically bearings? Or does it have to do with the belt and maybe the old original tensioner. The tensioner is quite stiff and has recently started to make a bit of a squeal noise when cold on Startup. Is there such thing as too tight a belt? I know there's such thing as too loose just not sure about to tight. Could it be the belt isn't lined up properly? Though the sound seems to be coming directly from the alternator.

New alternator but old belt. I always replace the belt after replacing the alternator.
