1970 C10 to 2017 Silverado?

Howdy:

Like the title implies I am considering selling my beautiful mint condition orange and white 1970 C10 (numbers matching, frame off restoration with 1400 miles) for a new Silverado, regular or double cab, that I would drive daily.

 

Love my C10 but it's a showpiece and an investment which I can't daily like a new truck. I know I will miss it but it's in storage now and I want a new truck and I'm not in a position to just collect a gaggle of vehicles, so what do you all think?

Get an old vehicle to drive in bad weather. Drive the 70 in good weather. Put collector car insurance on it for it's value and enjoy. I've done that a few times.

Unfortunately, space is problem. Wife got a new car and I had to put this in storage.

I would keep the C10 forever, it will only go up in value. Beautiful truck!!
