Theft-Lock Stereo

I have an 04 Avalanche that i disconnected the a battery in.. My aftermarket stereo and and I'm assuming it's for that reason... My question is is there wax any way to get around the theft lock with out having to purchase a stock stereo and put it in there?

the manufacturer should be able to get your radio unlocked - if you can prove ownership ... Lic / title / reg ... you'll need some serial numbers when you call them and maybe pay a small fee

Are you trying to unlock the factory radio? If so that's easy.

nope I'm retarded lol i have an aftermarket stereo in there and for some reason i thought the lock came before the stereo in the wiring and not the radio itself... therefore there is another issue causing my pioneer app radio 3 (210) to not power on, it's not fuses in the radio or the truck im lost at this point all i did was disconnect the battery terminals and actually bolted the pos and neg together cause i heard it drains all memory from the pcm and had to re learn everything which i thought would be a good idea after replacing the front end more or less after an accident
