I've got a 2005 Silverado. Truck is drive by wire so I wouldn't think I would need as many controllers and custom harnesses as I'm seeing with cable driven swaps. Looking at a 6.2/6L80 set off eBay. Trans in truck is currently gone and engine has recently started smoking. I'm thinking the hell with throwing a THIRD 5.3 in along with the THIRD 4l60. Engine comes with all assesories, harness and ECM. What more would I need for this to work with the gen III style harness? I'm assuming I'll have to have some sort of controller to work with the gauges and a/c?
