2016+ Silverado front bezel?

Has anyone painted, color matched, vinyl wrapped, or done anything to change the look of the Silverado front bezel which the license plate mounts to (between the tow hooks)?

 

They are typically black or chrome dependent on trim, I'm unsure the part number.

 

I'm look at options to remove the chrome on my 2016 summit white. Any help in the form of pictures and knowledge is appreciated
