Questions about lift and rims and tires

I have a question i just joined this forum i tried searching and i can not find anything. My question is i am gonna put a rough country 7.5 lift on my truck it is a 2015 silverado high country. My questions are i want to get rims with a -44 offset and my friends and i are arguing a couple say i will blow thru wheel bearings and it will affect a lot on the suspension so any mechanics out there is this true? Also what kinda MPG can i expect after i get lift and 35's.

 

One last thing anyone out there with the green high country or any truck green with rims and tires if you could post pics i cant decide between chrome and black.

I'm running 22x12 with 325/50's and I'm getting between 12-13 mpg.
