Something to keep Paco busy.

I took the head off the MTD's engine today, after breaking off the motorcycle spark plug which was too big for my spark plug socket. It was black as tar inside. The piston was coated as well as the valves. Looks like I will be doing a rebuild, which should be interesting. The parts will be pricey, but at least it will run good. I also located the oil leak, it is leaking from the sump, so I will deal with that when I can.

Keep Hood Equip, in mind. If you need something just give me all the numbers and I can call Hood up and see what they got. You never know. If there is a rebuild kit available maybe I can see if it is cheaper here. You never know. Just give me a Yell

I yanked out the entire elec. system today. What a mess. I do not know how to put it back, but it was a fire hazard the way it was. Old electrical tape is nasty stuff.

Pulled the engine today. Now I need to get a tool to get the sump off.

 

I had to take the front axle off, and it is sitting on cinder blocks now. I think it is pissing off the yuppies next door.
