hondarider94 Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 I'm wanting to get a full bolt on exhaust kit. The kit is Carven exhaust, it's not on their website yet but on their Instagram it says you can order it 3/17 It's a cat back system. Will this void my warranty? Will it leaves codes in the computer? I have only 15k miles on my truck, not trying to void the warranty just yet
hondarider94 Posted March 15, 2017 Author Posted March 15, 2017 +1 Where do I find the "flapper" on my truck? Is it before the muffler?
hondarider94 Posted March 15, 2017 Author Posted March 15, 2017 Do any other companies make complete bolt on cat back systems? My thinting is if it's bolt on and it needs work done I can bolt my stock back on...
Rawyzf Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Are you for real? LOL, Google Silverado Catback Exhaust, you'll get a million hits.
hondarider94 Posted March 15, 2017 Author Posted March 15, 2017 On my 15, it's right after the muffler. OK yea I see it now.. do most companies compensate for removing the flapper on complete cat back systems? I don't want to to make the "helicopter" noise.. even though mine hardly is ever in v4 mode on 6.5" lift and 35s
hondarider94 Posted March 15, 2017 Author Posted March 15, 2017 Are you for real? LOL, Google Silverado Catback Exhaust, you'll get a million hits. LOL obviously I know companies make cat back systems. I said bolt on. Jackass.

You'll get helicoptor from most Catbacks in 4cyl mode. Best bet is to tune it out, if you can or get the Range AFM disable device.
Rawyzf Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 LOL obviously I know companies make cat back systems. I said bolt on. Jackass. LOL, jackass.....that is funny. You're welcome for the replies. 99% of catbacks are bolt on.

Sierra 5.3 Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 I understood that there are many many companies that offer exhaust systems. I saw the sticky on the front page. I was asking specifically about bolt ons. Not a problem. Just note that with this site, if there is a huge sticky discussion about a topic and you create a new post about it, you will probably get a few jokesters, including myself, that point you in the right direction with a little bit of good ole fun harassment. It's not an intentional dig at yourself, more so "hey there is a huge post already about this topic and I would rather not have another post with 15+ pages of everyone stating the same thing with a few coming in to stir the pot." Anyways, welcome to the site. When it comes to exhaust $$$$ is the biggest player. If you have the budget, get a Borla. If you don't look into Corsa DB or Volant. I am interested in the full system you are talking about and wonder how much it will be. Lots of people like the Carven mufflers they have installed.
