On my 15, it's right after the muffler.

Yep, it's right after the muffler, the little square thing in the picture. I had mine tacked open when I had the Super 10 installed. Had them remove the resonator right above the exhaust tip also.

Have you had a chance to capture some sound yet?

It hasn't arrived yet. Should be here Friday and I'm hoping to get it installed Sunday. That may all go to hell, though, as it looks like I'm going to have to take my truck back to the body shop for a SECOND time to continue to fix ongoing issues from an accident back in February. Parking sensors are haywire now.

Dang that sucks. Mine does not have those sensors. Wonder if you could just unplug them or something.

There's a switch in the cab and you can turn them off so I've just been doing that when the go haywire but the accident was the other guys fault so his insurance is covering everything. Might as well make sure it gets fixed right then.

Very true. Might see if the body shop could just throw on the exhaust as well if they already have it on the lift.

Finally got one uploaded. Probably not the best video but it sounds good.

Any sound clip yet? Sorry for continuously bugging you, I just have yet to see any on youtube and really want to know how this sounds. I'm hoping its good so I can spend some of that tax return on this haha.

1. 6.5" lift

2. Warranty

Pick one.

Also, my brother is an ambulance chaser and he makes a killing off of the accidents involving "deviation from factory ride height."

I can't imagine that they'd bat an eye over they exhaust with that lift and wheels on it.

Thanks for your useless input on this thread. The lift voids the wearable parts from a lift. Had nothing to do with exhaust

No worries! Sorry it's taken so long, life has been a bit hectic lately. But I finally got a couple quick clips:

I've had it installed for about a week and a half now and I absolutely love it. Best sounding cat-back kit I've heard on these trucks. Loud but not obnoxious. The fit and finish is just superb too. Really really impressed with this kit.

That does sound good. I am still trying to determine what I want to do. Whether I want the full kit, if so do I want to do this one or the progressive one, or do I just want to switch out the muffler and call it good. I doubt I have the truck longer than 2-3 more years.

One thing to consider is if you get the Competitor Series kit, you are getting a different muffler than the R series. The muffler in the kit is tuned to the 5.3 engine.
