Lift blocks? 4 vs 5"

Any cons on running a 5" block over the 4" that came in my skyjacker kit?

I like my truck to look a little raked and to me it looks like my front end is higher than my back end now.

the taller the block the greater chance for axle wrap if you tow, also it would be better if the blocks were tapered

That's somewhat of my fear. I pull a 22" ski boat a lot during the summer. Once a year we go past the 3 miles to the local dock and hit broken bow or lake Travis both are a few hours each direction.

I'm worried if I get the soft ride leafs they will be to soft to pull with though. 4" leafs and a 1 inch block would do the same thing without that huge block underneath.

I have the 4 inch rear block as part of my BDS lift. A few months ago I contacted the shop that installed the lift to inquire about installing a larger block - I was told to avoid going any bigger than the 4 inch block due to potential axle wrap. I found the response a little strange considering the fact that the BDS 6 inch lift uses a 5 inch block. Incidentally, I also found it confusing that a 6 inch lift uses a rear block that is only 1 inch higher than the 4 inch block used on the 4 inch lift. At any rate, I've temporarily tabled the idea, but the two other options I considered were: (a) add a leaf; or, (b) airbags.

That's what I saw to and said well... if it's in their kit why the hell not. I could get the 4" springs and add a 1" block but I'd rather spend 50 bucks over 425.

I'm also considering a 1.25 body lift just for a little more height but I'm not 100% sure on it yet. It barely fits in my parking garage at work now. I think another 1.25" I'll be smacking my roof antenna for sure.
