Lol. I love these threads. Ain't nothing wrong fellas. It's 100% normal.

It used to be "normal to pull off to the side of road and stop driving after a flat" "Now it's 100% NORMAL to drive on it until the next town or service station" LOL I love these forums.........Some people don't switch vehicles like underwear so RELAX

Guys, just got back from the dealer. I had to get a software update for a recall on the 4wd selector. Something about getting stuck in 4-hi. I mentioned the issues I've been having with the transmission. Mainly harsh downshifts and hesitation taking off from a stop, issues with partial throttle, crawling in traffic, etc. They performed a programming update. Google offered up this when I searched bulletin 4660350: https://www.repairprocedures.com/bulletins/document/16na412/4660350.html

Is this a new TSB? It says Mar 16, 2017. Could somebody with access pull the PDF and post it here? Looks like it says 2016s with the 8-speed and 5.3L.

Anyway, as far as results, it shifted great on my drive home! Knock on wood. Very excited for others to try it out.

Any updates on this? I might call the dealer and get it performed on my 2016.

I wouldn't waste your time. Mine learned its previous bad habits and is just as bad as before. $50k piece of junk.

I drove a Ford the other day and it was as smooth as butter. I wish I still had my 2004.

As 16sierra says, don't even bother with the new trans update. No change...after about 100 miles back to it's old tricks. I would get the transfer case fix done though.

I might just wait to get a Black Bear Tune then :) Seems like GM doesn't want to fix their issue with a $50K+ vehicle :(
