I talked to Fluid Film on the phone about using it on the truck frames and here's a couple interesting facts:

Fluid Film is only doing its job when it's wet. Being wet is what keep the oxygen from reaching the metal being protected - once it drys it is no longer protecting stuff. It will stay wet longer when it is out of the sun as the UV rays dry it more quickly. Being wet, it will collect dust but once it has dust on it it will not collect more - i.e., it will not 'cake' dirt on things.

I have to say after watching a coworkers sprayed truck frame for the last three years and then talking to a local mechanic I decided to put it on my truck when new. Made it through first Ohio winter. Crawled underneath truck last week and it still looks good. Definitely would recommend using it.
