How to remove inserts

How do you remove the inserts on this grill?

I believe you have to remove the whole grill and then remove the clips from the backside.

Could be held on with 3m tape or with screws and brackets

I installed one of these on my 2014. It has small tabs that hold it in place. The inserts just push in and snap into place. You should be able to remove it from the front, it has nothing holding it on from the back.

Have to remove entire grill to remove factory inserts.
