Shock Torque Specs

Recommended Posts

Just bought some new Bilsteins to swap out the Ranchos. Does anyone know the torque specs for the front & rear shocks?

The ride is noticeably better with the Bilsteins. I also run my front tires at 55 and rears at 65 PSI.

Just received McGaughy's drop shackles today and plan on installing them over the weekend.

Got the drop shackles on two weeks ago. Like the look a lot and much easier to climb into the bed. Ride seems a little better, but it may be my imagination. Did get some slight vibration starting around 70 mph. Installed Bell Tech 2 degree shims yesterday to smooth things out. Haven't had a chance to get it on the highway and check it out yet.

Do you guys think Bilsteins give a smoother ride then Ranchos ?

I have the 5100 Bilsteins on all four corners with no complaints. I run my tires at 55 in the front and 45-48 in the rear. My truck rides good.
