4cylinder engine question

Alright I notice a slight noise when in 4cylinder mode coming from the drivers door area. Thought maybe it was the yeti in the door vibrating but it's not. Only happens in 4cylinder mode. I figured it's just from it being a 4cylinder it sounds funny. Ok so the engine is a 5.3 v8, but what is it when it goes to 4cylinder mode a 2.5l?

Ya i figured half out with a calculator but I never heard of anything like a 3.58 or 2.56 or 3.06 if you get my drift I figure it would just be a solid number not something like 2.65 instead just 2.5

It seems as if the tick comes from the driver door idk it's very irritating. Also I get wind noise from my driver door it seems as if I have to roll the window down and back up for it to seal correctly. I guess I just need to take it to the dealer

Stock exhaust or not? My drone noise is much more noticeable in v4 and all I did was pin the flap open.

In 4 cyl mode it is still a 5.3 V8, just one that runs like crap.

I agree that you should take it to the dealer. Driving in (or switching in and out of) 4 cyl mode should only be noticeable by the indicator on your dash.

My vote is disable that **** and get rid of that worry....Plus gas milage increased for me on 2 different trucks and on my brothers

 

If warranty is your concern get one of many divices that you could switch back to stock easily
