I want to remove the plastic air dam on my front bumper. I already removed the lower most dam but I am still worried that the upper air dam is going to get hit when I head in the woods.

Have any of you fine people tried this Kit? http://store.sdhqoffroad.com/2016silverado1500skidplatesystem.aspx

I would have to undercoat it black as I have a Midnight and adding that much shinny would look silly.

Just wanted to know if this is a quality part and or are there better ways to fill in the gap left in the center of the bumper when removing the upper air dam. Any thoughts and or pictures would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

The SDHQ skid plate looks like a nice piece. I built this piece for mine and added the GM aluminum skid plates to replace the plastic splash shield.

I like that MUCH better. Could you post some detailed pictures?
