Glove Box Alignment Question

Was kind of a random discovery today as I was driving home. I look over at my glove box and noticed it wasn't straight. When I got home I pushed on the left side and heard a click, but when I let go it dropped down again. You can see a bigger gap on the left side versus the right. The right seems to be hooking into the hole fine, but not the left side. Both side of the glove box door move in and out no problem when I pull the handle. It just seems like something isn't aligned properly.

 

Any ideas? I would hate to go to the dealership for such a small thing so I'm hoping you guys might have a suggestion or maybe run into this yourselves.

Good eye! I went back out to my truck and not only can you see a slight difference, but when I push the right side it goes in and out smoothly with no other movement. The left side goes in and out, but it also moves up and down which it shouldn't.

 

Thanks; I'm sure this is covered under warranty so I'll go to the dealership for them to deal with it now that I know the problem. Appreciate your help

Is there anyway to access inside that part without destroying the whole glove box door? Want to see if it's easily repairable.

They are ordering in a new glove box door and will replace it under warranty.
