Disc swap

I have a 2012 4x4 Sierra wanting to swap to rear disc set up what year trucks and models can I get the parts off of? I do not want to pay for a conversion kit

I know the 2009-13 6.2's have them and maybe the 2007-8 Vortec Max but you're going to be farther ahead if you get the axle that goes with it. It's a semi-floating 14 bolt that is much stronger than the typical 10 bolt that most 1500's have.

Also want to change the master and proportioning valve to make it work right. The rear discs require more fluid to them than the wheel cylinders of drum

Will a set up from either the Sierra Denali or Yukons work as long as they are in that year range?

Not sure on that one. Possibly if you get all backing plates and lines. You will need to pull the axle shafts out though
