Las Vegas 4th

I had a nice spot picked out for about 4 months now. It's out in the desert up a nice little hill that I can test out my new tires on.

I pulled off the dirt road to start going up the hill and I noticied that a another truck just made the top and was getting situated. Well I didn't come out all thay way for nothing so I pulled up to the top and as far away as I could. The couple in the other truck get out and start to make a small camp fire then they proceed to take off all their clothes. Nothing bad, just nudists watching the fireworks. Was good for a good chuckle... anyways here's the pictures (not of the nudists).

What kind've camera did you use to take those pics? Digital I'm assuming??

Taken off a tri-pod?

Camera is a Olympus E-10 (digital).

I used the best tripod ever... my Z-71!

I didn't have my tripod or remote shutter release on me, so I got a shop rag out of the back of the truck, folded a few times and used that to adjust angle and such as it sat in the hood of the truck. Then used the shutter timer, the one where you hit the shutter release and it times down for 30 seconds then the camera snaps the picture.

It took about 20 pictures. Through the little view finder, I thought I had some good pics, but this was the best one of the bunch. Most of the others were still blury.
