Bed rail caps loose

Anyone else's bed rail caps a little loose, like they have some play back and forth? Mine do, and the paint where the plastic meets it scuffed and chipping.

To be more clear, you can wiggle them back and forth at either end of the rail. Not so much in the middle. It's only like an 8th of an inch or play, but it seems to be scuffing/chipping the paint in spots when you lift up slightly to see the contact point with the paint.

If they are loose, I suspect someone has had them off before and replaced with an improper fit or somehow damaged the tabs. These bed rail caps are necessary so if your truck is not under warranty, maybe some two sided tape will stop the movement!

It is still under warranty. I don't know who would've taken them off. I had line x done but I don't think they take them off, I could be wrong though. I guess I'll see what the dealer says.

Sounds like you or line x will be buying some paint.

It's just a few small chips underneath where the plastic makes contact. Can't see it unless the rail caps are pulled up. I'll touch it up so the metal isn't exposed and it will be fine because once the rail caps are put back on tight you'll never see the spots.
