I just noticed you are procharger. Thought you were supercharger. Not sure if boost is different on the 2.

A procharger is a centrifugal supercharger while a whipple for instance is a roots style. They make similar levels of boost on their kits, but the boost comes on each one very differently. A roots makes it full boost from idle on, but they tend to flatten out in boost around 3000 rpm. They are better for towing, and light to light hard driving. However they tend to heat soak as they sit on top of the engine. The procharger makes its boost from 3000rpm on and continues to build boost in a linear manner. The procharger also uses a bypass valve so at lower rpms the boost built is sent into the atmosphere. The throttle body controls the boost let into the engine while it's all there in a positive displacement roots style.

They are both great units. It just depends on what you want to do with your truck.
