Fenders

Hello everyone,

 

I have a 2014 that needs the driver side front fender replaced due to a minor hit and run. Car was merging over and side swiped me and continued on there way.

 

My question is, are all the 2014-2017 fenders the same or did the fenders change with the new front end in 2016. Looked at a few pictures and searched on Google for a bit and it appears they are the same.

 

Anyways I was able to track down a 2017 Summit White Fender in my area. Double checking with the knowledge on this forum before I end up with a wall ornament.

Of course when I post I find the answer to my own question. They don't have any info for 2017 Silverado but 2014 and 2016 appear to be the same part number.

Its a PITA but it can be done, spot weld removers and spot welder will be your best friend or a collision repair shop haha

Huh? The fenders bolt on. No need for any welding or cutting.

 

 

 

14-17 fenders are all the same. Sierra and Silverado are not the same though.

Why? The just unbolt right off and bolt right on. 14-17 will

No need to spot weld anything unless you want to salvage the fender but on a new truck I would say just replace the fender so it can look better.
