Plastic bed liner with tie downs

Hey guys, got a used '14 Silverado the other day and love it. It has the stock plastic bed liner that just lays in the bed. If I wanted to put the tiedown hooks that go on the top of the sides of the bed, do I need to cut the holes out of the liner? Thanks.

Yes. Won't look too great however

Thanks, that's what I was worried about. They leave the outlines for the holes on the top of the rails though so I guess it's expected for people to do that? And now that I'm thinking about it I can't remember if it's the liner or the rails on the side, haha.

Dang ok. I wonder why the outlines wouldn't match up, ah well, thanks. I'll probably just stick to the hooks that go on the inside of the bed so it's easier.

Wait what did you mean by rails?

Your bed liner should tuck under your bed rails. The "plastic" protection on top of the bed rails is standard and the outline for knockouts line up perfectly with the pockets. The back pockets are already open as they also serve as grab handles.

Thanks, that's what I figured but wanted someone to confirm.

You're welcome. Enjoy your new truck!
