Chevy 1500 front end noise

Im trying to figure out my issue. Whenever i stop somewhat hard or accelerate (worse with my boat hooked up). My truck makes a pop sound from i think the front drivers side. Sound is similar to hitting an empy paint can with a metal object. It does not do it driving down the road it's especially noticeable after a hard stop when the truck shifts backwards sometimes it will do a quick pop pop. Rear u joints are brand new. This is a 2003 chevy silverado with 210xxx miles. Thanks

Could be a loose strut or maybe swaybar/end links issue.

^^^ along with a bushing, ball joint, or any other worn suspension part.

I jacked up the truck and checked the ball joints seemed fine. Im wonderting about struts

Ball joint or tie rod as well.

Update. It does it on normal bumps now. Maybe its not showing wear on the tire yet. Still scratching my head

Well i found the problem. When my transmission was installed just a few hundred miles ago the mounting bolts were not tight. Tighten them up and its quiet as can be.
