dt4629 Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Hi all, I'm getting a new 17 Denali. I'm looking at a BDS 6.5" lift with 37 Toyo MTs. Other option would be a Rough Country 7.5" with same tires. Does anyone have either of these, or 2016s? Could you please let me know what is the overall height? I have to be able to put it in the garage. Garage door height is roughly 7'8", or 92 inches. Could you please post some pics of your Duramax with these specs? Thanks in advance.
jimmyboy8301 Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 I'd definitely go with BDS hands down! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

aseibel Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I assume you are getting the 2500. From GMC's website we can find out that the stock height is 78.23" Then you add 6.5" for the lift. Your new tires are roughly 4.5" larger than stock dia. only half of that will increase the height, so i'll take 2.25" 78.23 + 6.5 + 2.25 = about 87" or 7'-3" (add another inch if you get the 7.5" lift) so you should have a couple inches to spare. the antenna is the highest point, and you can replace that. I think you'll be fine. also- you appear to have a lifted truck currently. How high is that one? compare that one to what you want to get on your new one.
