Mirror question

I know this is a dumb question so I apologise! I got my first gm today a 07 Gmc Sierra 1500. It's a work truck model, my question I can't adjust the side mirrors. There not power doesn't have the thing on the arm rest. So must be manual, but there stuck or something the glass won't move in the housing?? Any help would be appreciated!

Truck is super clean, with low miles and had a clean car fax. I googled 07 Sierra's and mine looks right.

The only dumb question is the one you DON'T ask!

 

Most work truck models are "stripped" - meaning, they have zero option packages. You probably have manual mirrors - no electric, and no stick adjustability.
