HELP! NOTHING WORKS!

I have read through other posts and am just looking for more answers.

I just installed the rough country 7 inch knuckle lift kit on my 2017 Silverado 1500. I followed all the instructions to a T! I reconnected the battery and started her up just to find that ABS,Stabilink, trailer brakes, and the power steering had service messages! I can hardly turn the wheel at all! I checked all the wires and connections, fuses are good, ect. Could it have anything to do with having the battery disconnected for 2 to 3 days?

Thanks!

Apparently.. I had no idea how many electronics this thing relied on.

I remember my '14 occasionally had Service Stabilitrak and I just dismissed it. All of the electronics are nice until you have to fix it. So I'm actually happy I went back to an '83 without a computer and a straight front axle. If/When I plan on lifting it, it will cost about half as much as an IFS truck does, and I'm talking about using new leaf springs with the lift built into them and not block.

I would say try resetting the computers again but disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes and then reconnect. If that doesn't work then I don't know if you should have a mechanic look at it and fix it on your dime or try to take it to the dealer. The thing about the dealer is that they'll know you could have screwed up since you installed a lift yourself so they may fight hard when it comes to the warranty.

Yeah the power steering won't come on at all. I'll back her up again tomorrow and try to make sure it's aligned better. The steering wheel wasn't straight like I thought it was. Idk if there are sensors that will shut stuff down or not.
