2008 Sierra - 6.2 L / Tranny Issues

Guys,

 

This is going to sound nuts.

 

Sometimes when its hot out or after I've been driving for a while, I loose reverse.

 

Meaning when I put the truck in reverse nothing happens.

 

If i let the truck sit for an hour or so - I put the truck in reverse and it works fine.

 

Any suggestions? I've checked the fluid level and no problems there.

Question for you.. How do you have a 6.2 in a 2008? Unless it's a Denali maybe?
