Adding a sub to my 15 2500 crew cab.

Well yesterday I blew the right front door speaker.
So I need some new door speakers and I want to add a single 12" sub to the truck.

Problem is I bought a single 12" sub box that goes on the passenger's side and it does not fit correctly. Sub is going to hit the floor.

Called the manufacturer and they claim the 1500 and 2500 do not have the same floor so the box will not work. Great!

They also will not take it back.

So are there any good options that will work for me?
Single 12 passengers side. Under the rear seat.

Also open to other mounting locations as long as I don't lose the space under the drivers side rear seat. Its already used.

Ok so door speaker is not blown.
Bolt that holds it in was lose. Little threadlocker and snugged it back up should be good now.

I bought an Audio Control LC1 and bass knob today. As well as an Alpine PDX-V9 amp.
I'm going to install this and than get a sub and build a box.

Ill post pics when I get the install done.

How did it come out? Did you make the 12 work? Just a thought I turned my downfire sub up in my previous truck. Sounded better that flapping the weather techs. Could maybe try that with yours

I hope you solved things with the box. As a tech we just put extra wood underneath to raise it up a bit more to keep them from hitting if it doesn't work.
