Work truck steering wheel radio control

2016 GMC 2500 wt. If I bought a steering wheel with radio controls, would I find the wiring inplace, or are the wiring harnesses different on the work truck. I find that's about the only thing I miss, they are on Ebay for cheap, seemingly in new, take off condition.
