Lund stick-on hood protectors

I've put a few miles on my Summit White (leveled 2wd) SLT. Haven't noticed any leading hood edge road rash, but it's a matter of time.

 

What do y'all think of this product?

Does the adhesive (tape?) cause a problem?

Will it be black & white overload on the truck?

 

Yes, I had a clear bra product on a previous truck. It covered much more frontal area, but is expensive!

 

Thoughts?

I've had the Lund stick-on on mine for a little over a year now. I've had no issues.

I have the AVS on mine for a few months now, maybe longer and haven't had any problems, hardly even noticeable.

Thanks. Yeah, it would definitely stand out more than on mine. You really can't tell I have one until you get close up on it.

I think AVS now makes color matched ones now. I have the tinted one on my black 2017, can't even tell it's there, easy to install

If you lift your truck up high enough, you won't have to worrry about anything making it up that high to ding it . almost 4 years later, have no nicks in front of hood. Bumper yes, hood no.

Found this pic of what it would look like on a white truck. Doesn't really look all that bad IMO.

I have it on a silver Silvy, and I love the contrast change. I didn't know they had colour matched ones, and likely would not have gone that way anyway.

I was hoping I could get a color matched guard but it looks like they only color match 4 colors and deep ocean blue isn't one of them. 15BlueSilverado did you end up going with Black or Smoke?

Love my AVS Aeroskin Colormatch. No issues with wind noise or it coming loose and super easy to install.
