column shifter help - 2003 2500HD

Long story short I needed to replaced the column shifter and got it taken care of. However now the truck won't turn over. when the key is turned to the on position the shifter display will cycle through the gears correctly but when I hit the ignition with the shifter showing Park I get nothing. To double check I disconnected the shifter cable from the column lever and manually pushed it all the way to park and still got nothing. I've double checked to make sure everything is plugged back in that was disconnected and it's all good.

 

Any thoughts?
