2000 gmc sierra 2500 4x4

So, i recently bought a 2000 gmc sierra 2500 6.0.  the guy took the original seat out because he didn't like it well he cut the harness coming from out of the carpet and i was wondering if anybody could tell me what all the wires do, its a heated power seat.  I bought another seat, which is a heated power seat, out of a newer chevy 1500 and non for the wires match up as far as color goes.  Thanks in advice

I'd imagine the wires supply power to the heated portion, and a separate wire supplies power to run the seat motors for the power function. Also, you'll have a couple wires for the seat belt indicator.

i thought that but out of all my research the only thing i found out was the big orange wire is the main power and the black wire is ground.  but nothing on was the 8 other colors are for
