14-15 honeycomb grille question

I plasti-dipped the honeycomb of my grille over a year ago.  It still looks exactly like the pictures.  See thread with before/after:

 

Edit - I have no idea why there are multiple copies of each picture when you view the thread now.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but I was able to locate a black grille and plan on swapping out my chrome mesh. The one I found is from an LTZ and mine is an LT. I dont see any issue but can anyone verify its an easy swap? I dint think grilles are different but not 100% sure. Thanks!

I assume if the grill came off of a same year truck it should fit right in.

let me know how it works out. I too, want to get rid of the chrome inserts and run black. I've been looking for 2 years for just the inserts and can't find them.  Surprised all the guys running 24x14 wheels dont want my chrome!

Does the mesh pop off or is there a special method to take it off?

Dont know about LTZ but when I was shopping for complete oem grilles, seller indicated Z71s won't fit on an LT.  Might go on there and msg them.

Pops off and separates.
