Transfer case

I have a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 HD 6L gas engine. NP1 is the RPO code. 3 buttons for 4 wheel drive, 2h 4l 4h.  Transfer case is shot and no one seems to know what year would be the same. Has been impossible to find 2003 unless rebuilt for 1400.00. What other years will fit this truck. Prefer not to go to manual shiftp
