Silverado problems

I just bought a 2015 Silverado with 40,000 miles on it, it’s a 4.3 4x4. It’s seems to shift into second gear awkwardly, at times when I push the accelerator when I’m coasting around 35 mph it seems to hesitate, until I push it down far enough only for the rpms to shoot up and chirp the tires.  I’m reading all the reviews from others and it seems some are having issues. Is anyone else having issues, and is there a way to fix it?

Maybe the transmission needs to be flushed. Maybe it's just a programming issue. Has it been doing this since you bought it?

Search the forum for something like "gas pedal flex".  Basically you put a shim between the firewall and the plastic gas pedal bracket.  A lot of people have gotten good results from doing it.
