2006 Chevy Silverado front end conversion

I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado.

 

Can I swap out the front end of 2009 Chevy Silverado on my 2006 Chevy Silverado?

 

If yes can you help point me to where in can get some instructions on how to do it.

Absolutely you can. It's not gonna be take this bolt of and put this bolt on. If you don't have fabrication tools (welders, cutters, ect..) there is no need to even get started. There also isn't going to be step by step instructions. It's going to be trial and error.

 

But it is doable... 

Here is a picture of my cousins truck.

Cadillac front end on a silverado we did years ago. Lots of fun but a lot of trial an error.

If this is a every day driver I would recommend not doing it either. This isn't a weekend build you are wanting to do.

One more question.

 

If I have all the necessary tools and I tear down and assembly of both vehicles,

 

How much time do you think it will take considering welding and drilling with minimal trial and error?

Took us about a week for the Cadillac. That was including paint and all. But we worked... Now that I think about it... it may have been a Sierra... lol I don't remember.
