Will 2000 hitch receiver fit 2013 truck...?

I just bought a 2013 Silverado and even tho it has the towing package, the receiver is missing...

I also have a 2000 Chevy 2500 that does have a receiver...

Will that receiver fit my new truck...?

If you know the make and model of the receiver on the 2000, you should be able to check with the manufacturer to see if it will work on the newer pickup.  My guess would be no.  But the manufacturer can confirm one way or the other.

No even close, very different frames

Yeah they have totally different frames.  They will be a few inches off on both sides and many not even fit with your bumper.  There wont be any holes either for hardware.
