Lower door trim molding

Did those of you that have removed the lower rocker panel trim is that purely just stick on or are there any holes going to look at and hopefully purchase a 2015 this weekend and the guy changed out the black molding for chrome! Am I able to just take the chrome off? Or will I have to replace with black? What I’m going to look at below... all chrome is going to go, can’t stand chrome!

just on with 3m tape.  little heat and they pop off.  goo gone, or one of those body erasers body shop uses, goes on a drill.

I use fishing line if it is stubborn.

 

GM installs them crooked, they peel off, they fade, or they bubble. Worse yet is they hold moisture, dirt, and salt behind them. Best to remove them and trow them in trash ASAP.
