4.8/60e to 6.0/80e Swap 1500HD parts into a 1500

This is my first time posting here. I have a 2003 Silverado 1500 with a 4.8. I am wanting to swap out the engine and trans to a 6.0/80e combo. I have been doing a lot of research and trying to learn about the intricacies of the swap, such as the need different torque converter, flywheel spacer, new transmission cross member, added transmission wiring, and so on. I have seen a lot of posts of people in the Silverado world doing it, but my question is this, if the 1500 HD comes stock with a 6.0/80e, wouldn't just pulling that pairing from a 1500HD be the easiest route? I cant find any info on it. Wouldn't the stock pairing eliminate the majority of the issues? Has anyone on here done this, am I missing something?

May have to fabricate a supporting cross member unless you can find a matching body/frame to pull from. Also need to pull the ECU TO match and likely the harness.
