Question for Drivers who use or know of Wheelchair modifications

I have a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 with Bruno outrider wheelchair lift in box and Bruno Valet lift seat. Anyone out there who knows about this setup, What is the best place to have the corded remotes located? They installed mine so one cord comes out bottom dash right beside where door opens, Other controller cable was run under carpet and comes out basically in same spot. They are always either getting slammed in door or getting tangled together when using them, Than they snap back  And fall between door and Bruno chair when extended out of truck ( Tough not to fall out when I'm trying to reach them) Anyone had any  better placement ideas??
