I think that may be the improper tool for the job. That looks like a Northern Pike, and should be measured with Molson cans.

Mark - I think you're right! I forgot to mention that my Bud Light tape measures largemouth bass and even some redfish and speckled trout when I can get out to the Gulf! :thumbs:

:D Glad you like it guys. I went catfishing today and got skunked! :thumbs:

 

But as I like to say, you can't catch em' if you ain't fishing!

BTW, that is a GOOD size fish. A beer can is what 5 inches? 7 cans = 35 inches.

 

I caught a 32 inch northern pike and it took us 25 min to get it in the boat.
