3rd Brake Light Seal went bad!!!

Has anyone found issues with the 2014-2017-18 third brake light/bed light?  My 2015 had the weather strip inside deteriorate and when it rained last week, my head liner was soaked as well as the back seat.  Searched online and found used ones all with the same issue.  Due to the rain, the light physically blew up.

 

I guess you can use this as a public service warning if no one is aware of this.

Known issue. There may be some warranty relief even if yours is expired.

Yes it is a common problem, I had mine replaced under warranty.

With all of the technology that we have today the amazing things they do to vehicles,, they still can't make a weather-tight seal on a brake light or the antenna on these damn trucks. I've been through four antennas on my 2015 GMC. And the dealer laughed when he said well at least your third brake lights not leaking.
