Vibration

I have a 2016 Sierra 5.3l Texas Edition and I have been experiencing a vibration that comes and goes. Also when I apply the brakes and am about to come to a stop it's like I just drove over a bumpy road, I feel this on the steering wheel also.

I have taken it to 2 different dealers and they both say that it was out of alignment and the wheels need balancing.

Well I had the wheels and tires rebalanced and my truck realigned on my local Firestone and it still does it.

There's a huge forum on this subject and short of me spending my money on checking the driveshaft I don't know what else to do.

Does it have to come to this, why doesn't a dealer takes it upon themselves to do this check. There's something that can be done.

I have been loyal to the brand so far, is my faith placed in the wrong place?

Is there a way that someone can tell the dealership to check the driveshaft or joint.? What about the brakes, not because they test drive it one time it doesn't mean that it's not there.

Contact GM customer service.

One thing that I see in your post that is just plain wrong, wheel alignment will not cause vibrations.  The only thing close to a vibration that can be created by wheel alignment is excessive positive castor, and that may cause a "shimmy".  A shimmy caused by castor is a violent shaking of the entire front steering components as both front wheels try to flip around.  Think of a shopping cart with the flapping front wheel.  This is not happening to your truck.

Drop it in GM's lap, where it belongs. They cut corners, you paid big money for it - they cover it under warranty, fix it right, or you sue. Simple as that.
